Re: Regalia Orders & Registration Reminders
Sunday is the last day to order Commencement regalia online
All graduating students who are participating in the June 12 Commencement ceremony must wear the appropriate Caltech bachelor's, master's, or doctoral regalia. Graduating students should order their regalia (caps and gowns, stoles, and house tassels) online by Sunday, April 26. Place your regalia order online. Students who do not order their regalia online by April 26 will need to contact the Caltech Store directly ([email protected]) to order regalia, and there will be no guarantee of size availability.
Register for Commencement celebration events and activities
Online reservations for the various activities and events surrounding Commencement are now open. Register for the Graduate Studies Celebration Luncheon, Senior Graduation Banquet, and Post Commencement Luncheon. Learn more about these events on the Commencement website. These activities are open to graduating students and their friends and families, but advance registration is required.
Kip Thorne (BS '62) to deliver Caltech's 132nd Commencement address
"Kip's extraordinary career is a testament to his intellectual passion and capacious vision," said President Thomas F. Rosenbaum, the Sonja and William Davidow Presidential Chair and professor of physics. "He is a generous colleague, dedicated to Caltech students and faculty alike. Kip's agreement to speak at the Institute's 2026 graduation ceremonies, my last, could not provide a more significant statement about the values of scholarship and humanity to which we all aspire." Accessibility and Accommodation for Graduating Students
The Commencement event site will include a ramp to and from the stage for graduates using wheelchairs, scooters, or similar devices. Additional accommodations can be arranged by request. Students are encouraged to reach out in advance to [email protected] or [email protected]. Large type event programs are also available upon request, and live-captioning will be displayed on the event screens on Beckman Mall.
